The majority of Gold Coast homes we work in are retrofitted using wireless devices and smart switches that fit existing wiring. Rewiring only comes up for hardwired lighting control in larger builds or full renovations, and we will tell you before you commit if that is the situation you are in.

If everyone is on iPhone, Apple Home is the smoother experience. If the house is mixed or Android-heavy, Google Home is the better fit. Both do the job well and we install both.
If you are already committed to one, we work within it rather than asking you to switch.

Core functions keep working. Smart locks, light switches and scheduled automations run locally through the hub and do not need the internet. What you lose is remote access from outside the house and voice commands that route through the cloud.

What moves you between those figures is the size of the house, how many systems you want connected, and whether the job needs cabling run through walls and ceilings. New builds are cheaper to automate than retrofits, because the access is already there. We give you a fixed quote before any work starts. If your budget will not stretch to everything at once, we design the system so it can be added to later without being rebuilt.
